This highly efficient active speaker unit will add defined low-end reinforcement to your sound, and will also power up to four of the V5 tops, providing you with a powerful and compact line array system.
The V5SA active line array bass cabinet uses the same small footprint cabinet shape as the smaller V5 HF/MF unit. The V5SA features two 10-inch high power, low frequency drivers with 2.6-inch voice coils, configured into a vented horn design enclosure that further improves the already high output efficiency.
Ideal for venues which require a longer throw sound system to cater for high ceilings and sloped seating or flat standing audience areas. This Studiomaster V5SA and its matching top speakers make an ideal solution for modern church sound systems, and for small festivals and concerts where a standard PA speaker will simply not give the required coverage.
Featuring a built in high performance linear power amplifier with DSP audio processing thats designed to perfectly match your signal to the passive V5 cabinets. The power amp module boasts variable speed fan cooling, overload and short circuit protection. The systems thermal protection is intelligent and linked to the DSP, and will automatically attenuate the output from the amplifier to protect it during overheating, and if required, shut down the amplifier fully to ensure future reliability.
Finished in the same rubberised black finish as the V5 tops, this low frequency line array speaker module can be flown (suspended) or ground stacked, with its compact size and low weight allowing for easy installation and transportation. With an easy to use amplifier, professional NL4 locking speaker connections and built-in rigging points, the V5SA adds low end performance to your V5 line array system.
