A complete V6 active line array speaker system from Studiomaster, this array package is a great choice as a concert PA system or small festival PA system. This compact line array system is ultra-lightweight, easy to transport, and offers the convenience of a plug-and-play design. Each of the two arrays features a pair of 15-inch active subwoofers and four active array modules.
These eight V6A active speaker modules in this concert PA system each feature a 550W bi-amplifier, sending 400W to their dual 6.5-inch midrange woofers, and 150W to the 3-inch high-frequency drivers. The 6.5-inch custom custom-designed woofers have a 38mm voice coil and are coupled with a 74mm HF unit with a neodymium magnet, which produces a huge 130dB SPL per module.
The four V6SA subwoofer enclosures are designed for a controlled and defined bass response and come fitted with 1200W amplifiers driving a custom 15-inch speaker with a 4-inch voice coil, allowing for a 40Hz low-end and 130dB SPL per unit. Designed for both ground stacking or in this case flying, the V6SA supports its attached V6A array speaker modules and allows for a 0-10-degree spread angle adjustment to each unit for the optimum audio projection.
Every V6 active speaker gives you full control of each line array module and bass module through its DSP system, with adjustments for crossover points, EQ, limiters, and a time delay. The DSP system is also linked to the connected amplifier’s thermal shutdown protection. Digital processing is easily controlled using the display and encoder on the speaker’s rear panels, or you have the convenient option to connect your laptop through the RS485 connection to give you full remote system adjustment.
Designed with ease of connection in mind, these active line array speaker units feature in and out sockets for their audio signal, DSP system, and for mains power, allowing a full array stack to only require single cable feeds. The V6A array modules are made from a hard-wearing composite material, with the V6SA subs being a resin-coated ply construction. This portable festival PA system is easy to transport and set up when used in a touring situation. Their onboard amplification and signal processing also means the V6 active line array system is completely self-contained, requiring only a mains input and source signal, so is as simple as can be to operate.
The included top-rack flybar suspension mounts allow you to fly this line array system from trussing or from a suitable structural ceiling point.
