Large flying line array speaker system from Studiomaster which is designed as a compact-sized concert PA system or festival PA system. This lightweight line array system is easy to transport and provides an active array design, along with a set of four 2x 18-inch subwoofer enclosures with separate amplifiers and DSP crossover management for extra low-end sound reinforcement on the ground.
Each of the sixteen V6A active array speaker modules in this festival PA system is fitted with a 550W bi-amplifier that sends 400W to their dual 6.5-inch midrange drivers, and 150W to the 3-inch high-frequency drivers. The custom woofers have a 38mm voice coil and are joined with a 74mm tweeter driver unit with a neodymium magnet, which combine to produce an enormous 130dB SPL per module.
Designed for great definition and control, the four V6SA active subwoofers are fitted with 1200W amplifiers driving a custom 15-inch speaker with a 4-inch voice coil, allowing a 40Hz low end and 130dB SPL per unit. Designed for either ground stacking or flying, the V6SA supports up to eight V6A line array speaker modules and allows for a 0-10-degree spread angle adjustment to each unit for optimal audio projection.
Every V6 active speaker features advanced DSP which gives you complete control of each line array module and bass module. It provides adjustments for crossover points, EQ, limiters, and a time delay, and is also linked to the amplifier’s thermal protection shutdown. This easy-to-navigate digital processing is controlled using the display and encoder on the rear panels, or you have the convenient option to connect your laptop through the RS485 connection to give you complete remote system adjustment.
Four V218S double 18-inch passive subwoofers are included here for immense bass output. Each V218S is powered by its own dedicated PDA-B2500 amplifier that provides 3200W RMS at 4 ohms, allowing these subs to work to their true potential of a staggering 138dB SPL each. To keep these monsters well fed, an Amate Audio LMS 206 DSP management processor is included for setting crossover levels and signal limiting
Designed to be user-friendly, these active line array speaker units feature in and out connections for their audio, DSP system and for mains power, allowing a full array stack to only require single cable feeds. The V6A array modules are built from a hard-wearing composite material, with the V6SA and additional V218S subwoofers being a resin coated ply construction. This portable festival PA system is easy to transport and setup when used in a touring situation, and is supplied here with the required flybar suspension units for mounting from a suitable truss system or structural ceiling point.
